With the goal of helping more Hungarian businesses facilitate into the North American market, while also aiming to boost the Hungarian export numbers for the future, representatives of the American-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce of New York and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce in Canada met online on 9th of December. Besides introducing their operations, Tamás G. Barát, President, Sándor Balla, Chair and the participants discussed common difficulties experienced along with their best practices. Afterward, the two non-profit organizations decided on a joint commitment to strengthening the ties for the future. Participants agreed that conferences, virtual tasting and networking events would be greatly beneficial for companies in both sides of the border. The agreement of future cooperation was welcomed and encouraged by Valér Palkovits, Consul General of Hungary in Toronto, along with dr. Miklós Gór-Nagy, Economic and Trade Attaché in New York, Máté Árpád Igaz, Deputy Head of Mission, Economic and Trade Attaché in Toronto and Judit Czakó, Economic and Trade Attaché in New York.
