Hungarian innovation in clean energy is gaining international attention! At the Edmonton Hydrogen Expo, Hungary showcased its cutting-edge hydrogen technologies through a national booth organized by HEPA Regional Office Canada and the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto.
The Hungarian delegation included leading organizations in the hydrogen sector:
-
Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association – István Lepsényi (President) and Attila Lakatos (Director of Corporate Relations)
-
Hydrogen Revolution Hungary – János Elek (Managing Director) and Gábor Papp (R&D Director)
The event provided valuable opportunities for networking, partnerships, and market expansion, connecting Hungarian companies with potential collaborators and decision-makers from across North America.
A key milestone during the Expo was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Canadian Hydrogen Association and the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association. This agreement lays the foundation for closer cooperation, technology transfer, and shared growth in the clean hydrogen sector.
HCCC celebrates these achievements as part of our mission to connect Hungarian businesses in Canada and share knowledge within the community. Events like the Edmonton Hydrogen Expo demonstrate Hungary’s growing impact in international innovation and provide inspiration for our members exploring new markets.
