Hungarian Heritage Month 2025 highlighted the strength and vibrancy of the Hungarian community in Canada, with events across Toronto celebrating culture, history, and business connections.
The month kicked off at the Hungarian Canadian Cultural Centre, where attendees explored Hungarian products, innovations, and cultural exhibitions. Guests discovered Hungary’s contributions to technology, gastronomy, and the arts, while connecting with fellow community members and local business leaders.

Ontario Provincial Parliament Ceremony – marking the 69th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, with the national flag raised and a commemorative plaque unveiled.

Niagara Falls Illumination – the Falls glowed in the Hungarian tricolor, accompanied by cultural performances including folk dance, poetry, and music.
